1 RULE MODIFICATIONS

1.1 CLEARANCES

SPRINGFIELD-All Southward trains require clearance.

SHY - Trains to Cincinnati via CR must obtain CR clearance card at Springfield.

Trains from Cincinnati via CR do not require clearance but must receive permission from GT Train Dispatcher before entering GT main track.

WASHINGTON CH - Trains to Greggs via B&O C&O must obtain clearance form A at Washington CH.

GREGGS - Trains to Washington CH via B&O C&O do not require clearance form A but must contact C&O Train Dispatcher for permission to enter Main Track.

JACKSON - All Northward trains require clearance.

SPRINGFIELD -*Register Station for trains originating and terminating.

JACKSON -*Register Station for trains originating and terminating.

2 GENERAL FOOTNOTES

2.1 WASHINGTON CH - Trains operating via B&O Main Track between GT Mileage 231.7 and Mileage 233.5 do not require B&O Clearance Form A but must have permission to enter B&O Main Track and must report clear after completing movement to the B&O Train Dispatcher.

Required permission -to enter and reporting clear to B&O Train Dispatcher may be received from B&O Operator at Washington CH by radio or other means of communication.

Normal position for the hand operated main track switch mileage 233.4 is lined for movement to the C&O Wellston Subdivision.

Southward GT trains operating between Washington C.H. and Greenfield over the C&O must report clear of C&O main track to C&O Operator, Washington C.H. after connection switch has been restored to normal position.

Northward GT trains operating between mileage 236.2 and Washington C.H. over the B&O must obtain permission from the B&O Operator, Washington C.H. before opening the main track connection switch to enter B&O main track.

2.2 GLEN JEAN - N&W will use GT main track from N&W eastward main track switch to the main track switch leading to the south end of the GT interchange track to pick up their cars. All GT trains or locomotives will approach and move over this portion of main track with caution, expecting to find N&W trains or locomotives moving unprotected in either direction.

3 JOINT MAIN TRACK

3.1 SHY to CINCINNATI joint with CR. CR Timetable and Rules govern.

3.2 Mileage 231.7 to Mileage 233.5 joint with B&O. B&O Timetable and rules govern.

3.3 Washington GH to Greggs, joint with B&O C&O. B&O C&O Timetable and Rules govern.

4 INTERLOCKINGS

4.1 Railway crossing at grade.

CR.... Mileage 210.1 .... Controlled.

Contact CR Train Dispatcher Columbus.

4.2 Railway crossing at grade.

N&W.... Mileage 283.5.... Controlled.

Contact N&W Train Dispatcher Portsmouth for instructions.

All southbound trains or locomotives (except through movements) must obtain permission from N&W train dispatcher to occupy circuit between the interlocking signal and N&W eastward main track.

If a train or locomotive should clear the circuit after having been used, crew member must advise N&W Train Dispatcher of this fact and again obtain permission to occupy the circuit. Permission must be obtained regardless of signal indication, but it must be understood that trains or locomotives will be governed by signal indication.

4.3 Railway crossing at grade.

5 EQUIPMENT RESTRICTIONS

5.1 Cars exceeding 315,000 lbs. gross between Springfield and Washington CH and cars exceeding 263,000 lbs. gross between Washington CH and Jackson must be covered by handling instructions.

5.2 All 6 axle Locomotives not permitted on Hole Track So. Charleston.

5.3 Hi-cube box cars and all other long cars with 64 foot or over truck centers are restricted on following tracks:

Hole Track - So. Charleston

National Cash Track -Washington C.H.

5.4 Special Instruction 7.25, cars containing flammable compressed gas applies between:

Mileage 200.5 and mileage 201.5 Springfield Jct.

Mileage 209.5 and mileage 210.5 So. Charleston

Mileage 222.0 and mileage 224.0 Jeffersonville

Mileage 232.0 and mileage 235.5 Washington C.H.

Mileage 282.0 and mileage 283.0 Waverly

Mileage 305.0 and mileage 306.3 Jackson

6 PUBLIC CROSSING AT GRADE

6.1 SPRINGFIELD - OLD NORTH MAIN - BURT STREET, movements will not exceed 5 miles per hour over this crossing.

6.2 WASHINGTON C.H. - ELM STREET mileage 233.9 (switching movements only). All train and locomotive movements must be preceded by a member of the crew who will act as flagman until crossing is occupied by movement.

7 OTHER TRACKS

7.1 Mileage 227.7, Heglers, 350 feet in length, switch point faces N.

7.2 Mileage 294.5, Ohio Mineral, 900 feet in length, switch point faces N.

7.3 Mileage 304.0, Sharon, 850 feet in length, switch point faces N. Station Number 304.
