PAINES SUBDIVISION FOOTNOTES

1 RULE MODIFICATIONS

1.1 CLEARANCES

SAGINAW - Trains do not require clearance but must have permission from Train Dispatcher Pontiac Yard to enter Paines Subdivision.

PAINES - C&O trains do not require clearance, but must obtain permission from Train Dispatcher Pontiac Yard to proceed East of Superior Street mileage 3.3.

1.2 TRAIN REGISTER MODIFICATIONS *Trains on joint main track are not required to register.

2 GENERAL FOOTNOTES

2.1 JOINT MAIN TRACK - Saginaw to Paines joint with C&O. GTW timetable and rules govern.

2.2 SAGINAW - Junction of Saginaw and Paines Sub., normal position of switch is for Saginaw Sub.

2.3 FORDNEY - C&O trains and locomotives will obtain permission from Train Dispatcher Pontiac Yard before entering and will report clear of Paines Subdivision at Fordney mileage 3.2 and Saginaw mileage 0.0.

3 NON-INTERLOCKED

3.1	Railway crossing at grade.
C&O Junction .... Mileage 6.3. Normal position of switch for C&O.

4 PUBLIC CROSSING AT GRADE

4.1 PAINES - All movements on the former PC trackage presently not being used, between Paines, mileage J 95.6 and end of acquisition, mileage J 91.8, must STOP and crossing protected by a member of the crew, warning traffic in advance of the movement at South River Road mileage J 95.0 and Swan Creek Road mileage J 92.6.

4.2 Switch key or pull bottom control instruction: Special Instruction 9.2 applies.
