MIDLAND SUBDIVISION FOOTNOTES

1 RULE MODIFICATIONS

1.1 CLEARANCES

MIDLAND SUBDIVISION - All Westward trains must obtain clearance at Bay City or BC Jct.

1.2 TRAIN REGISTER MODIFICATIONS

BAY CITY - *Register station for trains originating and terminating.

2 GENERAL FOOTNOTES

2.1 BAY CITY-MIDLAND SUBDIVISION - Trains operating between Bay City and BC Jct. via Saginaw Subdivision will be governed by Saginaw Subdivision footnotes.

2.2 BC JCT. - Trains and locomotive movements from Midland Subdivision arriving at BC Jct. must communicate with operator Bay City for instructions.

2.3 BG JCT. - Trains moving from Saginaw Subdivision to Midland Subdivision must report clear of Saginaw Subdivision.

2.4 BC JCT. - Normal position of Jct. switch Midland Subdivision mileage 0.0 is for Saginaw Subdivision.

2.5 MIDLAND - Normal position of East switch to WYE mileage 14.5 is from Midland Subdivision to Dow Chemical Spur.

2.6 MIDLAND - All trains or locomotives will contact operator Bay City upon arrival or departure from Dow.

2.7 Security locks now replace GTW switch locks on Main Track switches on entire subdivision.

3 EQUIPMENT RESTRICTIONS

3.1 Cars having a gross weight in excess of 315,000 lbs. must be covered by handling instructions.

3.2 All 6 axles locomotives are prohibited between East WYE switch mileage 14.5 and Midland and on west leg of WYE Midland mileage 15.0 to Dow Chemical Spur.

4 PUBLIC CROSSING AT GRADE

4.1 Switch Key or Pull Button Control Instructions: Special Instruction 9.2 applies.

5 OTHER TRACKS

5.1 Mileage 6.5, DeShano Inc., 394 feet in length, switch points face E. Station Number 732.

5.2 Mileage 7.6, Farm Bureau, 921 feet in length, switch points face W. Station Number 732.

5.3 Mileage 7.8, Wicks Lbr., 1200 feet in length, switch points face W. Station Number 732.
