KALAMAZOO SUBDIVISION FOOTNOTES
1.1. CLEARANCES
PAVILION - Trains to South Bend Subdivision will not require clearance.
1.2 TRAIN REGISTER MODIFICATIONS
PAVILION *Register station for Kalamazoo Subdivision Trains.
Kilgore Yard -*Bulletins Only.
2.1 PAVILION - Red and Yellow indication lights are located on relay box east side directly across both Main Tracks from facing point switch at Junction with South Bend Subdivision. RED LIGHT indicates westward train has passed Scotts or that eastward train is within 3 miles of crossover. YELLOW LIGHT is an indication that there is no train in such territory. For these lights to be effective, THE CROSSOVER SWITCH MUST BE THROWN BEFORE FOULING THE WESTWARD TRACK OR OPENING THE FACING POINT SWITCH.
These instructions do not relieve employees from complying with the requirements of GTOR Rule 254 before entering the South Bend Subdivision.
2.2 KILGORE YARD - The following instructions will govern movement on scale located on Pocket Track Mileage 6.5.
When not weighing, movement must not exceed 6 Miles per Hour on concrete approaches to scale and on scale itself. Coupling of cars when train is on scale must not exceed 2 Miles Per Hour.
When weighing, cars must be weighed uncoupled and cars must be uncoupled at beginning of concrete approach and allowed to roll over scale at a speed not to exceed 4 Miles Per Hour.
Movements over scale for weighing purposes must be from West to East.
Locomotives should not be parked or left standing within 50 feet of scales.
Train movement over scales is prohibited.
2.3 JOINT MAIN TRACK
Between mileage 9.4 and Kilgore Yard, joint with CR. GTW timetable and rules govern.
Conductor of trains and engines using the Main Track in either direction, between Mileage 9.4 and Kilgore Yard and between Mileage 9.4 and Checker Motors, must obtain permission to enter and report clear to operator, BO Tower Kalamazoo.
3.1 Cars exceeding 263,000 lbs. gross must be covered by handling instructions.
3.2 All 6 axles locomotives prohibited West of Sprinkle Road mileage 6.8.
