1 RULE MODIFICATIONS

1.1 CLEARANCES

Cass City Subdivision Trains originating at Pontiac Yard must obtain clearance at Pontiac Yard.

IMLAY CITY - Trains originating will not require a clearance, but must contact Train Dispatcher Pontiac Yard before departure.

1.2 TRAIN REGISTER MODIFICATIONS PONTIAC YARD - *Register station for trains originating and terminating.

2· GENERAL FOOTNOTES

2.1 P.O.N. JCT. - Trains operating west of P.O.N. Jct. will be governed by Holly Subdivision Footnotes. Normal position of switch is for the Pontiac Belt Line.

2.2 Mileage 6.3, Orion - A temporary derail has been installed on the South Wye, 200 feet north of the main track switch.

2.3 OXFORD - Southward trains must call West Train Dispatcher at Pontiac Yard for instructions for movement on Pontiac Belt Line before arrival at P.O. N. Jct.

South Spur - extends 1.3 miles south of Main Track. Stop sign and rail removed at end of spur.

2.4 IMLAY CITY - The Lapeer County Co-Op Elevator will be loading cars on the P.O.N. lead, east of Almont Street, Mileage 301.8 Flint Subdivision.

3 EQUIPMENT RESTRICTIONS

3.1 Cars exceeding 220,000 lbs. gross must be covered by handling instructions.

3.2 All 6 axles locomotives prohibited between mileage 27.3 Dryden and mileage 42.6.

3.3 The following segments of track on the Cass City Subdivision, are designated as excepted track in accordance with Section 213.4 of FRA Track Safety Standards effective November 1, 1982, with the exception of those segments covered by Section 213.4 (D):

Mileage 27.0 to Mileage 33.3 and Mileage 42.5 to Mileage 42.6

No train shall be operated over the above segments that contain more than five cars required to be placarded by Hazardous Material Regulation (49 CFR Part 172).

Maximum speed for trains handling any hazardous material cars between these mileages, is 10 miles per hour.

4 PUBLIC CROSSING AT GRADE

4.1 Switch Key or Pull Button Control Instructions: Special Instruction 9.2 applies.

5 OTHER TRACKS

5.1 Mileage 13.9, Oxford (do not exceed 5 miles per hour on former PC Transfer track. Station Number 563.

5.2 Mileage 21.3, Leonard, 200 feet in length, switch points face S. Station Number 565.

5.3 Mileage 32.6, Vlasic Pickle Co., 1428 feet in length, switch points face S. Station Number 809.
