Notes:  This Yard Job is being shoved onto the Main off of "The Pass", the 

long passing siding which extends from this point south to CC87.2, after

having work industries south of Plymouth. It's destination is the East

Yard.

When certain trains are being shoved, the conductor or brakeman (in this

case, both) ride the porch of the cab to inform the engineer of the

location and signal indications (on Manifests and Q trains on CSX, the

employee hangs onto the grab irons of the leading car being shoved).

Local trains and Yard Jobs are the last instance where the caboose is used

in daily on railroads in The USA.
