This is a photograph that I would normally attempt to record with a train in the 

frame, but I am satisfied that one is not present here. This was taken

during the annular elclipse of the sun on 5/10/94

The Absolute Signal in the foreground is known as Farmer Street.

This is the Northbound view. To the right bends the Southeast Wye, while

the Saginaw sub mainline is in the foreground. The track on the left is

the Long Lead to the Southwest wye, which bends left just in front the flat

brick building in the background (which itself once housed the Plymouth

Operator, and presently serves as the office for Plymouth Yard)

I love Impressionism, and I use depth of field (or the lack thereof) and

polorizer filters to interpret my passion for it....
