This train is generously powered by a rather unconventional consist. 
Although a pair of the new AC units can pull one of these trains up the hill
from Plymouth to South Lyon unassisted, most trains need help from the
Plymouth Local pool in the form of Hill Pushers.  When it is determined that
crews or engines are unavailable for this service, extra units are tacked on
at Walbridge, or at Plymouth if units are available.
